Tour Committee volunteers of Historic Fincastle, Inc. provide guided tours Monday through Sunday.
Tours are scheduled by appointment and can be made by calling 540-473-3077.
In addition to seeing 18th and 19th Century buildings, a few other interesting historic benchmarks to
look for on the tour include:

• Court House Documents signed by Thomas Jefferson and other famous Virginia Patriots.
  
• Beautiful wrought iron fences, balconies and gates.
  
• Flagstone walks from early 19th century
  
• Horse-mounting stile in front of Presbyterian Church.
  
• Hand water pumps at old cisterns and wells.
  
• Early gravestones in church cemeteries with oldest dating 1795.
  
• Handsome cupolas on courthouse and churches.
  
• Steeples containing bells which, by tradition, each year ring out the old and ring in the New Year.
